About LIVESTRONG

Since 1997, LiveStrong has been fighting to improve the cancer experience and make cancer a priority. We find new ways to raise awareness, increase outreach and facilitate collaboration in an effort to improve the cancer experience. We look at the experiences of the cancer community, find problems and develop solutions. Then roll them out to help more people in more situations. We provide support to guide people through the cancer experience, bring them together to fight cancer—and work for a world in which our fight is no longer necessary.

LiveStrong is proud to be associated with the Barbara Cook Cancer Foundation and the Bill Bottino Mud Run for Cancer whose members and participants, along with LiveStrong are creating a relevant, vibrant cancer movement based on evidence and by investing in strategic solutions. Unity is Strength, Knowledge is Power, Attitude is Everything – LiveStrong.

At the Lance Armstrong Foundation, we inspire and empower people affected by cancer.

We believe that unity is strength, knowledge is power and attitude is everything. Read our Manifesto.

We provide the practical information and tools people with cancer need to live life on their own terms.

We take aim at the gaps between what is known and what is done to prevent suffering and death due to cancer.

We unite people to fight cancer and pursue an agenda focused on:
Prevention
Access to screening and care
Improvement of the quality of life for cancer survivors
Investment in research

Founded in 1997 by cancer survivor and champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, the LAF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Austin, Texas.
